Dive into Flavor at Valley Swim Club

Valley Swim Club, located on the outskirts of Sonoma, offers a delicious dive into coastal seafood. With patio-only seating, this casual roadhouse serves up clams in buttery garlic noodles, seafood salads, milkshakes, and natty wines curated by the Valley Bar + Bottle team.

This new spot, opened by the owners of Sonoma’s Valley Bar + Bottle, focuses on the coastal cuisines of Baja, New England, and Northern California. Co-owner and chef Emma Lipp's menu features chowder, split-topped rolls with fried oysters, shrimp, or crab, and seasonal aguachiles. Pescadillas, trout a la plancha, and a spicy tuna bowl are also highlights. You'll find Japanese and Korean influences with dishes like steamed littleneck clams in garlicky ramen noodles.

For land-lovers, the menu includes smash burgers, grilled cheese, and plant-based options like an Impossible Burger and vegan cashew queso dip. Salads and a takeout menu will be available soon.

Natural wines, a specialty of co-owners Feldman and Walle, are prominently featured, pairing perfectly with the fried dishes.

The outdoor, dog- and family-friendly patio is adorned with tongue-in-cheek "No Swimming" signs and a wall of abstract waves, embracing a relaxed crab-shack vibe. No reservations needed – just order at the counter and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere.
